August Recap
We started the month with a big Daisy shoot at the beautiful Waterside House ahead of my upcoming fine jewellery collection - dropping tomorrow! Shoot days are full on and exhausting for an introvert, but I always love working with the Daisy team (I can’t believe we’ve been doing this for 6 years!) and the photos are really beautiful. I know I probably say this every time… but this collection really is my favourite so far.
I then headed to the Balearic Islands and fell in love with Ibiza - hands down the most magical place I’ve ever visited. I was lucky enough to be invited out by OKU (a serious perk of my job!) - a gorgeous hotel on the west coast of the island - the vibe was bohemian yet minimalist. I can’t wait to go back.
I had such an amazing time in Ibiza that I literally went back a week later (it was my birthday month and I’ve been going through a savage breakup - so I’m allowed!) More good food, more good music, more good vibes. I tagged all of the places on Instagram + in my highlights if you’re interested.
In between my Ibiza escapades, I celebrated my 34th birthday in London. I enjoyed quality time with my Effie girl, inhaled a chicken pie at Bistro Freddie with Rebecca and danced all night to Peggy Gou at Gunnersbury Park. Watch my birthday vlog here!
Next stop Paris!
It’s been a pretty major month for my brand, MIRROR WATER. At the start of the month, an incredible review of SMOOTH Body Oil was published in The Times (thank you India Knight. We then launched with two major retailers - Oh My Cream! and Niche Beauty - a huge achievement for us and great news for our European Homebodies! Of course, I had to pop into the OMC! store on Rue Montmartre in Paris. I can’t even tell you how much your support means to me. I absolutely love working on all things MIRROR WATER and I’m so glad my products help so many of you unwind.
It’s always a pinch me moment seeing my products in store alongside some of my favourite brands! You can also now find SMOOTH at East London’s latest it-girl destination - the Peachy Den store on Dray Walk, just off of Brick Lane.
I feel like I need a holiday after all of my holidays! Such a busy month, but so fun! August, you were real.

Okay, I’ve headed straight to that denim bag Estée, argh I love it! And how do I make my soup at home look like that 😂 (the very cool grown up version of when my mum used to put our initials on tomato soup in cream 🤣 not thought about that in forever haha).
Totally with you on the magic of the island too, but it’s always been Formentera for me, heading back next week (for the 9th time 😂 but next time we have to do Ibiza too, I keep saying I need to do it!). Xx
