6 London Date Night Spots.
London offers an endless list of chic and eclectic date night spots, but in this post I've curated six of my favourites - including some that are a little lesser known...
Little Duck The Picklery
68 Dalston Lane, E8 3AH
I’m obsessed with the gorgeous Little Duck in Dalston - it’s small, candle-lit and intimate. Expect to see lots of seasonal dishes, natural wines and pickles (obviously) on their monthly changing menu. The kitchen is the centrepiece which I love - grab a seat at the counter and enjoy lots of mediterranean inspired small plates.

Rita’s
49 Lexington Street, W1F 9AP
Tucked away in Carnaby, Rita’s opened independently in 2012. The ambiance inside is super warm and friendly, with not a lot of tables - so it feels quite cosy and intimate too. The menu changes seasonally at Rita’s but blends classic American cuisine with British/European produce. Expect to order a lot of delicious small and larger sharing plates that are perfect for date night. Rita's have a commitment to sustainability, and source their ingredients from organic farms across London and Europe.
José
104 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3UB
José is a true little slice of Spain on Bermondsey Street. It’s been on the London foodie scene for years, known for it's atmosphere, daily changing tapas menu and Spanish wines. Heads up - they don’t take bookings, so keep a backup spot in mind just in case… (there’s no shortage of good food on Bermondsey Street).

Peckham Cellars
125 Queen’s Road, SE15 2ND
Peckham Cellars is a gorgeous neighbourhood wine bar and bistro in Peckham that was opened by three friends back in 2019. It’s one of my favourite places to go in South East London for small plates and they have a great choice of wine (they even have some wines on tap!)
Cafe Boheme
13 Old Compton Street, W1D 5JQ
Part of Soho House group, Cafe Boheme is a true gem in the heart of Soho. Visit to enjoy an all-day menu of French classics while listening to live jazz every single day. Cafe Boheme is said to be inspired by the 19th century French poets who used to meet on Old Compton Street.
Spiritland
9-10 Stable Street, N1C 4AB
Spiritland in King’s Cross is a one-of-a-kind spot for music lovers. By day, it serves as a vibrant radio studio and café, while by night, it transforms into a cocktail bar with live music. If you live and breathe music, this is the place for you.
