My Long-Haul Hydration Routine 🛩️
My in-flight skincare routine for staying hydrated on a long-haul journey.
I can’t stand flying, but there is something nice about dim lighting, snacks, no phone signal and an entire season of Real Housewives to watch. But while you’re indulging in an in-flight glass of bubbly, flying can be a real buzzkill for your skin. Between the dry cabin air and hours spent in a confined space, your skin is usually screaming for a boost of hydration! Here’s my skin loving in-flight skincare routine to keep me face feeling bright and hydrated, even at 30,000 feet.
Ross J Barr Calm Patches
First things first, I stick these on my lower back and neck to help me relax and settle in! They contain essential oils and a special selection of herbs to combat everyday stresses.
Ursa Major Face Wipes
Time to cleanse. I don’t usually use wipes - but they’re definitely handy for travelling. These wipes by Ursa Major have a 4-in-1 formulation to clean, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate the skin. I discovered these via Shop 100ml - the ultimate destination for all things travel skincare.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Hydration Mist
I’m a mist addict so when Summer Fridays added a mist to their Jet Lag range I was so excited to get my hands on it! My skin feels instantly hydrated, soothed and calm. The mist also works to protect the skin’s moisture barrier and provides antioxidant protection.
Cle de Peau The Serum
I use my skincare thinest to thickest! This *very* bouji serum is lightweight but seriously hydrates the skin like no ones business. It also reduces the appearance of any fine lines!
Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid
The product that needs no introduction… IYKYK! Key ingredients include niacinamide, peptides, hyaluronic acid and marula oil for that nourishing, dewy, glazed look we all love and crave.
By Terry Hyaluronic Flash Eye Patches
These eye patches have a creamy texture on a cotton textured pad and I prefer them to the jelly types. My faves! Immediately hydrating, smoothing, revitalising and 97% naturally derived - heaven.
Rhode Barrier Restore Cream
This has become an instant holy grail - I slather this all over my face and neck. It feels fairly lightweight but also rich and creamy.
Augustinus Bader The Face Oil
Time to seal everything in with an amazing oil. I’m a huge Augustinus Bader fan! You can’t go wrong with their amino acid-rich face oil. It sinks in quickly and gives me a long-lasting glow.
Clarins Hydra-Essential Lip Balm
I actually forgot my lip balm! I made an emergency airport purchase in duty-free and picked up this from Clarins. So far, so good!
MIRROR WATER RUB Solid Balm
I use shea butter rich, RUB Solid Balm on my elbows and cuticles for a little extra TLC. As a solid oil, it also works well as a massage balm - simply rub a small amount between your hands to melt it down. I do this to release the tension in my hands and knots in my neck.
That’s everything! Time to marinade in my skincare and binge RHOBH! 💎 What are your in-flight beauty must haves?
I'm so curious about the Rhode stuff, but I don't think we can get them in Sweden yet? How flawless is Hailey's skin though, I just want whatever she's having hah
I like the pouch! Where is it from? Thanks 🩷
